Admission to the permanent collection and the Carmen Thyssen Collection, on an open-dated ticket valid for one year from purchase. Temporary exhibitions are not guaranteed and are subject to capacity at the museum's preferential ticket desk. Guided tours and audio guides are not included.

Best Time to Attend
Arrive well before the last admission, 30 minutes before closing, and allow around two to three hours. Begin on the top floor and work your way down through the chronological layout.

Most visitors spend around 2 to 3 hours exploring the collection, which is arranged chronologically across three floors - start at the top with the early masters and work down to the modern movements.
