The Reina Sofía is a large museum, so most visitors spend around 2 to 3 hours exploring the highlights - Guernica and the Picasso, Dalí and Miró rooms alone reward a good couple of hours.

Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, and Sunday, 10:00 am - 2:30 pm; the museum is closed on Tuesdays. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing, so arrive in good time at your selected slot.
